Bright yellow-green stems on Yellow Stemmed Dogwood.

Selected form of Dogwood with young shoots bright yellow-green. Particularly effective in winter especially when planted in clumps. Makes a good contrast to Red Stemmed Dogwood. Deciduous. Will make a good informal hedge/barrier. For this purpose plant 2ft (60cm) apart. SHRUB 7ft x 8ft (2.1m x 2.4m). If grown as a shrub prune hard in spring to improve stem colour.
