Large leathery leaves speckled with yellow. Display hedge at the Garden Centre.

Very dense evergreen hedge with up to 8 inch long (20cm) leathery green leaves with attractive yellow variegation. Tolerant of shade and atmospheric pollution, and holds its bright variegation in the shade. In spring has small, red-purple erect panicles of flowers, and female plants bear large red fruits in the autumn. HEDGE Prune with secateurs in August. For hedges 3-8ft (0.9-2.4m).
