Attractive rare native deciduous tree, with maple-like leaves which turn from green to yellow then orange and finally purple-red in autumn. Rounded heads of small white flowers May to June followed by clusters of speckled brown fruit which ripens in September. TREE 20ft x 12ft (6m x 3.7m) in 20 years, ultimate height 60ft (18m).
