Yew Hicksii Hedge after a year's growth.

Hicksii - female, Brownii - male. An excellent dense form with columnar habit which makes a superb hedge and grows faster than English Yew when young. More suitable for dwarf hedges than English Yew. YEW, HICKSII produces large bright red fruits at a young age if pollinated. We can offer YEW, HILLII a similar male form if a pollinator is required. In this case plant a minimum of one Hillii to ten Hicksii. HEDGE Trim in autumn. For hedges 1-6ft (30-180cm). Plant 9-12ins (23-30cm) apart. CONIFER 10ft x 3-4ft (3m x 90-120cm).
