In April, it is smothered with masses of clusters of huge dazzling white, single bowl-shaped flowers 2-2.5ins (5-6cm) across which contrast beautifully with the young coppery foliage. These turn to dark green in summer. Considered to be the best white cherry. Robust and vigorous habit. Deciduous. TREE 25ft x 15ft (7.6m x 4.6m) in 20 years, ultimate height 30ft (9m).
