Exceptionally beautiful small but vigorous deciduous tree with horizontal spreading branches often drooping to the ground. Very large, fragrant single or semi-double snow-white flowers borne in long swaying clusters in spring. The green, fringed leaves turn orange-red in autumn. TREE 18ft x 30ft (5.5m-9m) in 20 years, ultimate height 25ft (7.6m).
