Elegant small deciduous tree with arching branches and graceful habit. Fern-like leaves turn orange and bronze-red in autumn. White flowers late spring followed by pendulous clusters of fruits ripening to rose-red in September, changing to pink then white flushed pink. Charming and suitable for smaller gardens. Prefers an acid to neutral soil. TREE 8-12ft x 5-8ft (2.4-3.7m x 1.5-2.4m) in 20 years, ultimate height 30ft (9m).
