Very elegant tree which forms a dense mound of weeping branches which are clothed with silver grey, downy, willow-like leaves, which change to grey-green and smooth above in summer. White flowers in April followed by small brown fruits in autumn.
TREE 9ft x 7ft (2.7m x 2.1m) in 20 years, ultimate height 20-25ft (6-7.6m).
