Lincolnshire variety recorded in 1904. Noted for intense rich aromatic flavour with taste of aniseed developing after picking, crisp yet soft with melting juicy flesh. Skin greenish-yellow streaked red. Hardy, easy to grow and prolific cropper. Suitable for colder areas and is more resistant to frost.
