Busy Lizzie - One of the most uniform, non-stretching varieties around. Specifically bred for compact habit and earliness to flower. This well balanced mixture contains at least ten different colours which look dazzling in bedding, borders, containers or as pot plants.
Sowing Instructions. Germinate from February to April at 20-25C (68-77F) on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a fine sprinkling of vermiculite, but do not cover the seed completely. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.
Growing Instructions. Transplant seedlings, when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow on in cooler conditions for at least 14 days before planting out. Plant outside after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart, or grow in 7.5cm (3in) pots indoors.
