Centaurea (Cornflower) cyanus Dwarf Blue M.

A fantastic little cornflower rather like a ball of colour. Lower and neater than any we believe you will have seen before. Full of bloom at 15cm (6in) high. Ends up about 30cm (12in) high. Easy to grow and suitable for beds, borders, containers etc. Flowers summer. Hgt. 20-30cm (8-12in).

Sowing Instructions. Optimum Germination Temperature: 65-70F (18-20C). Sowing Depth: ¼in (6mm). Sowing Time: Sow March to April or August to September for overwintering. The seed should be sown outdoors where it is to flower in spring or autumn and thinned out to 12in (30cm) apart.

Sown in the late summer/early autumn to produce even better plants for flowering next summer, and final thinning should be left until the spring so that the plants are about 45cm (18in) apart.

Growing Instructions. Space the plants 30cm (12in) apart in full sun in ordinary garden soil.

Flowering Period. Summer
