A beautiful and distinct primula with large round flower heads made up by scores of neat florets. Prefers a semi- shaded position but will do well in the border. Sowing Instructions. Sow spring to mid summer or autumn on surface of good seed compost and gently firm. Seal in a polythene bag or cover with glass and place in a shady spot. Do not exclude light which is beneficial for germination. Keep soil damp but not wet. Germination usually takes 10-30 days at 15-18C (60-65F), higher temperatures can prevent germination.
