Wallflower - Dwarf, sturdy and much neater and compact plants. Very good for exposed positions, beds and borders. Where space is limited containers, tubs, etc. Flowers spring. Height 25-30cm (10-12in).
Sowing Instructions. Sow in late spring/early summer outdoors in a well prepared seed bed. Sow the seeds very thinly 1.5mm (1/16in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart. Keep the soil damp until germination takes place.
Growing Instructions. Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle 15-23cm (6-9in) apart. When about 10-13cm (4-5in) tall, pinch out the growing point to make them more bushy. Transplant 30cm (12in) apart into the flowering site in the autumn for flowering the following year.
Aftercare Instructions. They will grow in most soils in sun or part shade.
