A dual purpose onion that resists bulbing up enabling it to be pulled for a longer period than regular varieties. Excellent overwintering qualities, can be sown either late August for late May pulling or in spring and summer for summer/autumn crops. Crops in 60 Days.
Sowing Instructions. Spring onions will grow in any good fertile soil provided it is welt drained. Sow from late winter to late summer at 3 weekly intervals. For an early spring crop sow in late summer and overwinter. Sow thinly 6mm (žin) deep in drills 15cm (6in) apart.
Growing Instructions. No thinning is required. Harvesting can usually start 6-8 weeks after sowing.
