Aubergine:Mohican

A unique new Aubergine with a neat, dwarf habit, making it particularly attractive when grown in patio containers. Long, oval, white-skinned fruits hang like bunches of grapes, and are best picked small to increase yield over a long season. Suitable for indoor or outdoor growing. Crops in 85 Days.

Sowing Instructions. Sow February to March, 6mm (¼ inch) deep in seedtrays or pots of good seed compost at 18-20C (64-68F) under glass or in a propagator. When large enough to handle, transplant individually into 7.5cm (3 inch) pots and maintain minimum temperature of 15C (59F).

Growing Instructions. Plant out from the end of May or after all risk of frost. Use 2 plants per growbag or plant into 25cm (10 inch) pots or direct into the greenhouse soil. Sideshooting is not usually necessary. When several fruits have set commence weekly feeding with tomato fertilser. Ventilate and keep air moist during hot weather to help minimise red spider mite attack.

Aftercare Instructions. Prefers a deep, fertile soil. Harvest July to October.
