T&M Seeds Annuals (Half-Hardy M-P) :

Nicotiana x hyhrida Tinkerbell F1. Hybrid

A Breeding Breakthrough in Nicotiana Tinkerbell demands closer inspection, as the clusters of dusky-rose petals have lime-green backs and unusual azure blue pollen in the centre of each flower. Ideal for adding height and interest to borders, flowering over a very long period.

Sowing Instructions. Sow on the surface of a good seed compost from late winter to early spring. Make sure the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 7-20 days at 21C (70F). Do not exclude light which is beneficial to germination.

Growing Instructions. Transplant when large enough to handle and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 30cm (12in) apart in a sunny spot on light well drained soil.

Flowering Period. Mid Summer to Autumn
