Malus domestica Bright Future

Bright Future is a new variety of apple that has been bred to celebrate 50 years of Garden Organic (previously HDRA).It is a late cropping apple that will store into the new year. The flavour is good with a nice sweet acid combination, sweeter with age. To get best flavour and colour keep the fruits on the tree till early to mid October. Bright Future is hardy and disease resistant.

Crab apples such as Golden Hornet and John Downie also are good pollinators for all apples. In areas where there are many apple trees already growing it may not be necessary to plant an extra pollinator.
