The Packing supervisor’s position is a full time role 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some Saturday work may be required. Our main mail-order season runs from the beginning of November to the end of April. For the rest of the year we are sending out pot grown plants. We require a supervisor to take charge of the packing area. The supervisor will run a team of up to 14 staff and must have basic computer skills. They will be responsible for:-

• Quality control
• Working to dead lines
• Motivating staff to achieve goals
• Dealing with Couriers
• Maintaining good levels of packing materials
• Checking packing quality
• Ensuring packing building is kept tidy, and health and safety is adhered to
• Working closely with the Goods in/field Supervisor to ensure plants are supplied to the packing building in good time for packing
